The High Country Handiworkers club has organized an Internet Conclusion Course for Hunter Education on April 20–21, 2024.
This course is for 4-H members. However, parents and siblings are welcome to attend and earn their hunter education cards as well.
All participants must complete the online course BEFORE attending the in-person course. We recommend starting soon—the online course takes significant time to finish. The cost is $29.50. Click here for the online course: https://www.hunter-ed.com/colorado/.
If you have any questions, email the High Country Handiworkers club at info@hch4h.org.
No Archery Practice this week!
We do not have practice on Tuesday, February 27 because the McKee 4-H Building exhibit hall is not available.
Please see the Calendar for upcoming practice dates.
NOTE: This Work Day has moved to Sunday, April 7.
We have a range workday scheduled for Sunday, March 24.
There is fence to build (all the wood is there) and port-o-potties to move. We also need to inspect and tighten cables for the target backers. Plus, there is general cleanup.
We will work on a SignUpGenius for equipment we may need: drills, bits, saws. Bring your work gloves!
The 4-H Carnival will be on March 2 from 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. and Shooting Sports will host two booths: Skee Ball and Ammo Pull.
The Carnival is the largest fundraiser of the year for the Larimer County 4-H Foundation and the Shooting Sports program. The funds help support Larimer County members who are traveling to Nationals in June as well as other Shooting Sports needs.
Please volunteer for a shift to help!
