Wanted: Air Rifle/Air Pistol Superintendent
The Air Rifle/Air Pistol Superintendent position is currently open. We are seeking someone who is certified in the Rifle and Pistol disciplines who has volunteered in the Larimer County program for at least one year to lead these disciplines. Following is a description of the role of the Head Superintendent including Qualifications and Duties.

Role of the Head Superintendent
Each Shooting Sports discipline will have a Head Superintendent appointed by the 4-H Extension Agent.
Qualifications
Superintendents must be State Certified in the shooting discipline they will lead and have served a least one year in the discipline on the county level.
Be 21-years-old or older and be enrolled as a 4-H Leader in Larimer County.
Duties
Work with other superintendents to organize and present county-wide annual safety meetings and orientations.
Explain the discipline’s schedule, rules, and expectations.
Participate in meetings of the Shooting Sports leadership.
Secure the shooting range and schedule practice dates.
Provide a list of practice dates to the Extension Office to be published in the Clover Connections newsletter and lc4hss.org.
Conduct a minimum of 8 county practices for members.
Record attendance for each 4-H member.
Coordinate the County Shoot.
Secure ribbons and county fair entry sheets from the Extension Office.
Secure awards for state teams and individual contests.
Work with the Orion scoring team to total scores and determine ribbon placings for each discipline and contestant.
Forward team and individual contestant information to the Extension Office.
Assist in the Larimer County Fair Shooting Sports Department.
Help with check-in of projects.
Help with judging.
Assist with exhibit check-out.
Coordinate the State Shoot delegation for the discipline.
Hold two or more practices for the state team members and individuals.
Attend the state competition to provide support and resolve issues that may arise.
