State Shoot Registration

We’re nearing the last event for this year’s shooting sports competitions. Thank you everyone for your participation and help with this year's practices and events. It’s been a bit different and if nothing else, we now have a system for handling unexpected events!

Here are a few discipline-specific notes for State Shoots:

  • Shotgun: Skeet will be Tuesday, August 18 and Trap will be Tuesday, August 25.

  • Archery: Will be at The Ranch in the same location as practices.

  • Air Rifle/Air Pistol: Starting a bit later than county shoot

  • Muzzleloading: Start time has been moved back to 2:30 p.m.

  • .22 Pistol: Will be held during the day on Saturday, September 5.

  • .22 Rifle: Each relay is dedicated to a specific class.

We need both phone numbers AND email addresses for each person over 17-years-old who will be attending the state shoots. This includes members, adults, and guests. Please be sure to include them on your registration on SignUpGenius.

Since this is a postal match and counties have until the end of September to submit their targets and scorecards to the state office, results are not promised until the end of October. We will let everyone know as soon as results are posted.

If you have any discipline-specific questions please talk to your superintendent or check lc4hss.org.  Please sign up as soon as possible so we can get the scoring system set-up and be ready for the upcoming shoots.
