My PI: My Preparedness Initiative Training

The MyPI (My Preparedness Initiative) is an award-winning youth preparedness, leadership, and educational outreach program. A flyer about the program and training is available here.

MyPI is offering free training for youth ages 13–19. (Age as of the graduation date of June 29.)

Training

  • Disaster Preparedness

  • Search and Rescue

  • Fire Safety & Suppression

  • Treatment of Injuries

  • Disaster Medical Ops

Graduates will complete FEMA’s CERT training, CPR & AED certification, community service hours, specialized career tracks.

Dates and Locations

Training at The Ranch in Loveland:

June 6, 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
June 7, 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
June 13, 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
June 14, 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

Graduation, Emergency Simulation, and Career Day at the Poudre Fire Authority Training Center:

June 29 from 9:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
