Air Rifle/Air Pistol and Archery practices are currently being held in the East Pavilion at The Ranch. Please enter the fairgrounds through the Main Entrance Gates, turn right at Gate 6 to the east of the McKee Building, and travel along the gravel road to the livestock pavilions. Please see the map for details.
We are looking forward to the in-person orientation tomorrow at the First National Bank Building at The Ranch.
This event is for 4-H members and a parent/guardian who RSVPed to attend.
Here are the details:
Arrive on time for your check-in.
Each discipline’s session will last 45 minutes.
Arrive through the main entrance gates, park in Lot F or Lot C, and enter through the main doors that face the Budweiser Events Center.
Bring your session schedule outlined in personalized email. We will not have copies to distribute to members.
Bring a water bottle, but not food.
Paper and pen will be helpful for taking notes.
Follow the health and safety guidelines for 4-H events at the Ranch.
If you have any questions, email info@lc4hss.org or message this page.
Keep in mind that enrollment must be complete and the enrollment fee must be paid before members are eligible to attend in-person orientation and begin Shooting Sports practices.
There are many members whose enrollment is NOT complete because it has not been correctly submitted on the new 4HOnline system (v2.4honline.com).
The new system is a little confusing for us all. The system requires you to verify how you're paying the enrollment fee, though Larimer County does not accept payment on 4HOnline. Please see this instruction sheet to walk you through the required options to finish the enrollment process and submit it to Larimer County 4-H.
Payment for the enrollment fee is accepted via check mailed to the Larimer County Extension Office at 1525 Blue Spruce Drive, Fort Collins, CO 80524 or via PayPal at this link:
https://forms.logiforms.com/formdata/user_forms/74846_2296047/366695/page1.html
The enrollment deadline is coming up quickly on March 15.
If you have any questions, please contact your club leader or Pam Heeney at heeneyps@co.larimer.co.us.
Thank you to all of the Shooting Sports members for your patience with our orientation schedule this year. It’s not as simple as in years past, but we’re doing our best to work around attendance limits and get everyone ready to practice!

Now that we have the approval to begin hosting in-person events at The Ranch and other locations, we’re able to begin Shooting Sports practices and meetings. Here’s how things will work.
Requirements for members to begin practices:
Enrolled in Shooting Sports in each discipline on 4HOnline.
Paid enrollment fee either by check or online.
Completed your required orientation for each discipline.
Members who are eligible to attend practices will receive an email with an invitation to register for practices on SignUpGenius. This email will come directly from the discipline superintendent or admin's email or the Larimer County Shooting Sports SignUpGenius account. Registration on SignUpGenius is required to attend practice. Each discipline will set its own deadline for registration. To allow as many members as possible to attend, each family is allowed only one parent/guardian to attend practices. Adults need to include their contact information in the SignUpGenius.
All participants must follow these basic guidelines at events:
Do not attend if you feel ill or are experiencing any symptoms of illness.
Masks are required for all participants at all times, unless a safety exception is specified by your event leader (for example, masks can be removed on the firing line in shooting sports practices for safety reasons)
If you are unable to wear a mask or prefer not to wear a mask, we ask you to participate virtually in these events
Wash your hands before attending, after the event, and as appropriate during the event
Enter and exit through separate doors
Each event space has its own bathroom facilities. Please only use the facilities designated for your event space
Individuals not following these guidelines may be asked to leave or be removed from the event.
