On February 17, 2018, there will be a 3D archery shoot held at Lon Hagler hosted by the Big Thompson Bowhunters Association. This is an opportunity to get some experience at all of the different types of 3D targets. This is not a 4-H sponsored activity and it is not required.

Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. and shooting starts at 10:00 a.m. We will shoot 20 targets, break for lunch, and then shoot the same targets again from a different stake, so you will get plenty of shooting. As always, lunch is included in your registration fee which is $10 for members and $20 for non-members. Youth 13 and under shoot for free, although there is a $5 charge for their lunch. Lunch consists of hamburgers, brats, and hot dogs with chili, fruit, chips, drinks, and cookies. Trophies will be awarded for the top three finishers in each class.

Are you interested in Old West history? Do you like to shoot guns of the Old West? Learn more about the Western Heritage project and try it out. 

To be eligible for Western Heritage, you must be a 4-H member, be at least 9 years old, and have 1 year of participation in one rifle, pistol, shotgun, or muzzleloader.

When: Saturday, February 17, 2018 from 2:00–4:00 p.m. (weather permitting).

Where: Great Guns Sporting, Nunn, CO in the Cowboy Action bays.

Help run the Shooting Sports Skeeball Booth at the 4-H Carnival on March 3. We expect this booth to be very popular so you won't be bored! The money raised will be used to help Larimer County Shooting Sports members who are attending Nationals. This is a great opportunity to pitch in and support the Larimer County Shooting Sports program.

We have a great fundraising opportunity to help our shooting sports program!

Rebel Junk Market will be at the First National Bank Building at the Ranch on February 22–24, 2018 and they need our help. Load-in shifts will require lifting, so we need some strong folks for this! Fundraising dollars are used to help with such things as equipment, targets, range-time fees, and help for Seniors who are traveling to compete at Nationals.
